Mary Boynton Mcclain

Mrs. Mary Boynton McClain 73 entered into rest Friday, June 21, 2024 at her residence. She was a native and lifelong resident of Burke County. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, retired RN working many years at Burke Medical Center and for Dr. Ronnie Sayers at Sardis Medical. She was a graduate of Jenkins County High School and Augusta Technical College.

Preceded in death by her parents Tom and Totsy Boynton and her sister Tommie Frazier.

Surviving are, her husband Wiley “WZ” McClain of Sardis, her sons, George Bradham (Angi) of Waynesboro and Brian McClain (Lori) of Alexander, her sister, Lottie McKinney of Waynesboro, brothers Ray Boynton (Cherdale) of Millen, Mickey Boynton of Millen Henry Boynton (Donna) of Millen, sister, Diane Hall (Don) of Beech Island S.C., her grandchildren, Joshua Bradham, Elijah Bradham, Matthew Bradham, Savanna Bradham, Brian McClain Jr, Britton McClain, Lindzey Tau (kyle) and Bradley McCall, several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Her extended family Martin Luna, Maria Luna, Jesus Luna and Samatha Luna.

Visitation will be Monday June 24,2024 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will 2 p.m. Tuesday June 25, 2024 in the DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Jenkins and Gregg Coursey officiating. Entombment will be at Burke Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

Active Pallbearers will be Elijah Bradham, Matthew Bradham, Brian McClain Jr., Britton McClain, Clay Boynton and Jason Boynton.
