Waynesboro – Wyatt Dunn Powell, infant son of Derik Powell and Shelby McGowen, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2018, at the family's residence. Wyatt was preceded in death by a sister, Alayna Powell; his paternal grandmother, Ruby Dunn Newman; his paternal grandfather, Frank Powell; and his maternal grandfather, David James.

In addition to his parents, Wyatt is survived by a sister, Alexandra Powell; a brother, Maximus Powell; his maternal great-grandmother, Annette James; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm Thursday, February 15, 2018, in the DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
