He is survived by his wife, Christy Wood; son, Joshua Wood; father, Henry T. Wood, Jr. (Susan Boyer Wood) of Lady Lake, FL; mother, Patricia Ellison Bargeron (Howell) of Sardis; 7 siblings, Valerie Lewis (Darrell) of Sardis, EveVel Hullett ("John Boy") of Sardis, Rhonda Wolf (Craig) of Clermont, FL, Maria Bargeron, Jesse Bargeron, Carlos Bargeron, and Carmen Bargeron all of Sardis; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and other family members.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Sardis Baptist Church. Pastor Ernest Johnson and Pastor Bert Hickman will officiate. Burial will follow at Sardis Baptist Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Greg Holder, Chuck Miller, Jesse Bargeron, Carlos Bargeron, Neil Gardner, and Darrell Lewis.
