William H. Schisler

August 7, 1927 — December 13, 2012

Waynesboro, GA- William (Bill) Hobart Schisler was the second child born to Charles and Charlotte Henrietta (Eitel) Schisler on 8/7/27 in Nanticoke, PA.After his honorable discharge from the USN (Korean Conflict veteran) he was accepted to Princeton University, the US Naval Flight School, and Drexel University from where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. He was an accredited land surveyor and was certified as a PE by several states and by the US Department of Energy for whom he worked at the Piketon (OH) Nuclear Enrichment Plant, at Oak Ridge (TN), and at the Savannah River (GA) Plant from where he retired.

He is predeceased by his late wife Josephine (Ondrusek) Schisler, his brother Charles Schisler, and his son Staff Sargeant William C. Schisler.

He is survived by his loving wife Johnnie Mae (Dent) Schisler of Waynesboro, GA, a daughter Z.M. Schisler of Phila., PA, his son Robert (Becky) Schisler of Dublin, OH, a daughter-in-law Sharon Schisler of Midway, GA, a son Timothy Dent of St Paul, MN, and another son Corey (Alquitta) Dent of Waynesboro, GA.
He was Pop to grandchildren Justin, Adam, Travis, Chelsea, Shawn, Brittney, Tony, Whitney, Tristen, Corey Jr., Timothy Jr., Kiara, Corese, Jaylen, Jasmine and Cameron.

Memorial Service: 3pm Sunday Dec. 16 at the funeral home.
