William Roger Martin

Waynesboro, GA- William Roger Martin, 37, entered into rest Wednesday, June 8, 2016. He was born on August 11, 1978 in Alma, GA and spent most of his life in Burke County. He graduated from Burke County High School. William was a carpenter by trade. He was a baptized member of Canaan Baptist Church in Augusta. He loved his family, fishing, and most of all the Lord.

He is survived by a daughter, Cora Lee Ann Martin; his parents, Van and Maxine Martin; two sisters, Lisa Mourfield (Peter) and Lori Ferguson (John); a niece, Amber Ferguson; three nephews, Zachary Drew, John Ferguson, and Nicholas Mourfield; and many other family members and friends.

Memorial Services will be 2:00pm Monday, June 13 at Canaan Baptist Church, 3907 Mike Padgett Hwy. Augusta, GA 30906, with Rev. Mike Andrews officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Canaan Baptist Church.
