William Richard Waters "Little Richard", 69, entered into rest Tuesday, October 19, 2021. He was a native of Stillmore, GA and a lifelong resident of Burke County. He was the longest surviving patient at Brentwood Nursing Home, having lived 64 of his 69 years there. He was preceded in death by his adopted parents, Lottie and Fletcher Waters; biological parents, Clayton and Nettie Mae Lovett; two sisters, Loree Lanier and Peggy Collins; and brother, Ernest Johnson, Sr.

He is survived by two sisters, Patricia Waters of Twin City and Brenda Bradley of Metter; a brother, Wayne Waters (Kathy) of Garfield; caregivers, Ernest and June Johnson of Sardis; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 7:00pm Friday, October 22 at the funeral home. Graveside Services will be held 1:00pm Saturday, October 23 at St. Mark Cemetery with Rev. Ernest Johnson officiating.
