William Edward Gay "Papa", 87, passed away in Hephzibah on January 14, 2016, after a battle with cancer. Papa was an old soul, full of laughter and love. He lived a remarkable life, leaving wonderful times and memories wherever he went. His jokes and kindness will remain even though he is no longer here. As he would always say, "Find laughter in everything because life is too short to frown."

He is survived by 2 sons, many loving grandchildren, family members, and friends.

Memorial Services will be 6pm Thursday, January 21 in the DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home Chapel.
