William E. "Bill" Brinson

April 25, 1926 — May 14, 2010

Waynesboro, GA.- Mr. William E. "Bill" Brinson, 84, entered into rest Friday, May 14, 2010 at Burke Medical Center. A native of Midville, GA, he was born April 25, 1926 to the late John Wright Brinson, Sr. and Hattie Perkins Brinson. Mr. Brinson was a life-long resident of Burke County. For many years he was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Waynesboro. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Wesley P. Brinson, and John Wright Brinson, Jr.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Mary K. Brinson; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 3:50 p.m. Sunday, May 16, 2010 at the funeral home. A graveside service at Magnolia Cemetery with Greg Coursey officiating will follow at 4:00 p.m. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Bi-Lo Coffee Club.
