William H. Burke

William H. Burke, 80, entered into rest Thursday, February 29, 2024. He was a native of Jenkins County and a longtime resident of Burke County. He retired from Sunbeam Aluminum Furniture, formerly Kellers Aluminum Plant. William was a member of Calvary Tabernacle of Waynesboro.

He is survived by his wife, Bobbie “BJ” G. Burke; two daughters, Stephanie Murphy (Michael) of Waynesboro and Wanda Hall (Lamar) of Twin City; four granddaughters, Jessica Jennings, Taylor Johnson (Austin), Raina Jarrett (Martin) and Erin Hall (Jeffery); and two great granddaughter, Adley Jarrett and Kinsley Johnson.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00pm Saturday, March 2 at Calvary Tabernacle of Waynesboro. Burial will follow at Burke Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Michael Murphy, Lamar Hall, Austin Johnson, Martin Jarrett, Jeffrey Hutcheson, Daniel Hance, Bubba Reeves, and David Rogers.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Jill Posey and Angel Styburski.

Remembrances may be made to Calvary Tabernacle of Waynesboro.
