Wendell Paul (Dell) Brantley, Jr. entered into eternal rest on July 8th, 2018 at age 66.He was born in Millen, GA on March 23, 1952.He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Glenda Brantley and his parents, Wendell and Jeanette Brantley.He is survived by his wife Terri Burke Brantley, his four children Joshua and Jessica Brantley, Jeremiah and Krystal Brantley, Jonathan and Nicole Brantley, and Jessica and Wesley Weatherford.He is also survived by his step-children Dustin and Courtney Hall, Lindsey and Chris Oglesby, and Hunter and Kayley Bolton.Dell was a loving brother to Rusty Brantley, Debbie Salter, and Mikell Brantley, and was the proud "Papa" of 21 grandchildren.
Dell leaves a legacy of love and faith in God that has influenced generations. His wit and wisdom will be missed by all.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00pm Wednesday, July 11 at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Thursday, July 12 in the DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Wesley Weatherford officiating. Burial will follow at Burke Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Brent Turner, Eric Sapp, Ray Sapp, Michael Mincey, Chuck Sharkey, and Thomas Kelly.
