Wayne F. Herrin

May 17, 1944 — May 20, 2020

Wayne F. Herrin, Sr., 76, entered into rest Wednesday, May 20, 2020. He was a native of Tennessee and a lifelong resident of Burke County. He was retired Army and National Guard.

He is survived by seven children, Wayne Herrin, Jr. of Waynesboro, Janet Simmons of Laurel, MS, Tonya Moron of Atlanta, Jennifer Watts of OH, Shannon Sims of OH, Mary Ponders of Statesboro, and Michael Ponders of Lincolnton; and numerous grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
