Vivian Mcbride

Vivian McBride, 68, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 6, 2023. She was born in Louisville, GA on April 3, 1955, to the late Herbert Daniel Whitaker and Louella Carter Whitaker. Vivian was a homemaker who enjoyed canning. She was a good wife and loved her animals, Bella and Baby Girl. Vivian was a member of the Waynesboro Church of God. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard McBride.

She is survived by her son, Shane Whitaker of San Antonio, TX; grandsons, Patrick Whitaker and Joseph Whitaker both of Augusta; sister, Teresa McNair (Emory, deceased) of Stapleton; brothers, Danny Whitaker (Cathy) of Dearing and Michael Whitaker (Melanie) of Montgomery, AL; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service honoring her life will be held 3:00pm Sunday, August 6 at Fort Creek Baptist Church, Dearing, GA.
