Tracy Darrin Aiken, Sr., 61, passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully, on Tuesday, July 12, 2022. He was born to the late Robert Aiken and Ruby Herman on October 21, 1960. Tracy currently worked at Great Dane located in Statesboro, GA as a lead fabricator. He was known by his work peers as "Sugarbear". He could always bring a smile to anyone's face and you could always count on him having a pocket full of candies to pass out to everyone during the shift. As a passionate dog lover, Tracy also considered his dog "Lola" to be a member of his family.
He is survived by three children, Ashley Nicole Aiken of Beaufort, SC, Tracy Darrin Aiken, JR., of Windsor, SC, and Jessica Lynn Toole (RJ) of Aiken, SC; six wonderful grandchildren, Stephen Cruikshank , Landon Cruikshank , Emory Aiken, Ryan Toole, Logan Moore , and Adelynn Toole; four sisters Ruby Deese of Augusta, GA, Syble McAtee, Tina Aiken both of Greenville, SC, and Nita Isom of Easley, SC; and two brothers, Robert M. Aiken Jr. (Helen) of Greenville, and James Aiken of Easley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, his work family, and his precious Lola.
Funeral Services will be held 4:00pm Thursday, July 21 in the DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bruce Allen officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
