Waynesboro, GA - Thomas V. (Bo) Cochran, 72, entered into rest on Monday, July 18, 2011, at University Hospital after an extended illness.A life-long resident of Burke County, he was born on May 15, 1939 to the late George H. Cochran and Ruth J. Cochran.He was a member as well as an Elder of First Baptist Church, Waynesboro.He was employed by Mr. Golf Carts and NAPA Auto Parts for many years.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Sherri J. Cochran; two daughters, Katie Cochran of Waynesboro and Lyn Golden (Jeff) of Perkins; five siblings, James H. Cochran (Margie) of Waynesboro, Larry E. Cochran of Fernandina Beach, FL, Betty R. Ballard of Augusta, Charles Wayne Cochran (Angel) of Waynesboro, and David R. Cochran (Debbie) of Augusta; one granddaughter, Ashlee Smith of Waynesboro; Ashlee's father, Al Smith of Waynesboro; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 20, in the Fellowship Hall of First Baptist Church, Waynesboro.

The Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 20, at First Baptist Church, Waynesboro officiated by Dr. G. Al Wright, Jr. andRev. Wayne Dixon.Interment will follow at Midville City Cemetery.Honorary pallbearers will be Phillip Blanchard, John M. Jackson, Emory Walden, Lon Hankinson, George L. DeLoach, Roy Jenkins, James Eastmead, Dr. Hugh Scott, Charlie Waters, Dr. B. Lamar Murray, and Deacons and Elders of First Baptist Church, Waynesboro.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Building Fund, 853 N. Liberty Street, Waynesboro, GA30830.
