Terry C. Hawkins

August 10, 1954 — February 9, 2021

Terry C. Hawkins, 66, entered into rest on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at his residence. Terry was born on August 10, 1954, in New Castle, IN to the late James B. Hawkins and Betty Jean Phelps Irvin. Terry retired from Allegany Ludlam. In October 2016, Terry moved to Waynesboro, GA. He was a bass player for the 50/60s band called "Bax Trax". His other hobby was collecting die cast cars. Terry attended the Waynesboro Church of God. He was also a member of the Steel Mill Workers Union. In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Ann Dietz and Karen Jo Shaffer; daughter, Christin Hawkins; and a grandson, Kory Hawkins.

He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Julie Hawkins of Waynesboro; son, James Aaron Hawkins (Tammy) of New Castle, IN; daughter, Sabrina Dawn Hawkins of New Castle, IN; grandson, Trevor Hawkins of New Castle, IN; stepsons, Richard E. Donnell III (Christina) of Hephzibah, and Michael Donnell (Sarah) of Muncie, IN; brothers, Thomas Hawkins (Pamela) and Jimmie Hawkins both of Kokomo, IN; sister, Dottie Hawkins of Waynesboro; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial service honoring Terry will be held at a later date.
