Susie Marie Parker Weddon

February 29, 1920 — March 14, 2009

Waynesboro, Ga.- Susie Marie Parker Weddon, 89, entered into rest Saturday, March 14, 2009 at Burke Medical Center, Waynesboro. She was born February 29, 1920 in Stillmore, Ga. to the late Russell Parker and Susie Everette Parker. She had been a resident of Brentwood Terrace Health & Rehabilitation Center for the past six years. She was a member of Midville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Phillip Weddon.

She is survived by her children, Phyllis Marie Drew, of Waynesboro, and Wayne Phillip Weddon (Sheila), of Statesboro; grandchildren, Phillip Douglas Drew (Julie), Stephen Wayne Weddon (Barbara), Michael Patrick Herrington, Jeffrey Scott Herrington (Jennifer), and Sheila Weddon Bonner (Wes), eight great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, and a nephew, Russell Parker.

Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at DeLoach Funeral Home, Waynesboro. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.
