Susan Kirkendoll Buckley Bartlett
April 8, 1961 — January 23, 2016
Mrs. Bartlett was a native of Richmond County and a lifelong resident of Burke County. She was a 1979 graduate of Glascock County High School. Her passion was staying at home spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Mary Kirkendoll.
Surviving are, her husband, Thomas Bartlett of Hephzibah, her daughter, Jennifer Chambers and husband, Austen of Sardis, her step-daughters, Paulette Bartlett and Chasity Sparks both of New Port, TN.; her sisters, Sheri Kirkendoll of Augusta, Stacy Paugh of Augusta, and Sharon Kirkendoll of New Jersey; her brothers, Scott Kirkendoll of Winchester and Tommy Kirkendoll of Augusta, her mother-in-law, Mrs. Myrtle Bartlett of Keysville; her grandchildren, Mikala Frawley, Taylor Nunnally, Ashten Chambers, Heather Leonard, Rebecca Barker, Owen Sparks and Bessie Sparks; and her great granddaughter, Gracelyn Hartsell.
Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, January 28, 2016 at the DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Shane Padgett officiating. Burial will follow in Burke Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Paul Bennett, Timmy Brown, W.G. Bartlett, Clyde Welch, Charlie Sconyers, Johnny Weaver, Robbie Hammock, and Manuel McWhorter.
The Family will receive friends one hour prior to the Service.
Remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
