Waynesboro, GA - Shirley Martin, 75, entered into rest Tuesday, December 13, 2011.She worked at Keller Aluminum and Chalker Publishing until retirement.Her interests and hobbies included gardening and traveling.She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond L. Martin; step-son, Roy Martin; and a brother and sister.

A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Shirley leaves behind three daughters, Deborah Ellis (Gene) of Chattanooga, TN, Diana Trice (Kenneth) of Swainsboro, GA, Cheryl Ryals of Waynesboro; step-son, Ray Martin of Hephzibah; two step-daughters, Gloria Moore and Terry Roll, both of Martinez; two brothers, and five sisters, all of West Virginia; sixteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 15, at the funeral home.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, December 16, at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.Rev. Matt Wigley will officiate.Interment will be at Rose Dhu Cemetery in Vidette.
