Waynesboro, GA - Shirley Ann Vickery, 63, entered into rest on Sunday, July 4, 2010, at Burke Medical Center.She was born December 29, 1946 in Richmond County.She attended First Baptist Church of Waynesboro.She was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Ernest Gay, and her mother, Vivian Earline Gay Barrow.

She is survived by her husband, Floyd O. Vickery, Jr.; son, Floyd O. "Trey" Vickery, III (Monika) of Sardis; daughter, Kim Vickery (Patrick) of Sardis; father, John Turner Barrow of Waynesboro; three brothers, John Barrow (Ollie) of Hephzibah, Larry Barrow of Wrens, and David Eugene Barrow of Wrens; and six grandchildren, Chris Vickery, Angel Vickery, T. J. Vickery, Jasmine Vickery, Callie Johnson, and Adrian Johnson.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Thursday, July 8, at the funeral home.

The funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Friday, July 9, at the funeral home.Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery.Pallbearers will be William Vickery, Donovan Vickery, David Bowles, Mike McGahee, Timmy Jackson, and John Barrow.
