Shaina was a native and lifelong resident of Burke County. She was a 2015 Burke County High School Graduate. She attended both, the Sardis United Methodist Church and the Sardis Baptist Church, and loved the outdoors, including hunting, fishing, guns of all kinds and many other outdoor activities.
Surviving are her parents, Franklin and Katie Cates, her mother, Angell Ellison, her brother, Graison Quick, her uncle, Nathan Ellison, her paternal grandfather, Darrel Ellison and her paternal great parents, Eva Nell and Eugene Ellison all of Sardis.
Visitation will be Friday, May 29, 2015 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home
Graveside Services will be 3 p.m.Sunday, May 31, 2015 in the Sardis Baptist Cemetery with Reverend Roy Cates officiating.
