Sarah Hunter Fail, 70, entered into rest Monday, March 22, 2021. She was born in Waynesboro to the late Corrine and John Hunter. She loved to play BINGO and enjoyed sitting under her tree. She loved her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her two dogs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Fail; and five brothers, Charles Hunter, Floyd Hunter, Grady, Hunter, Paul Hunter, and Herbert Hunter.

She is survived by three children, Sharon Smalley (Donald) of Hephzibah, Ernest Fail, Jr., of Waynesboro, and Elizabeth Gray of Augusta; six grandchildren, Estela Vizcaino of Columbia, SC, Samantha Fail of Augusta, Rebecca Vizcaino of Augusta, Anthony Fail of Columbia, SC, Jesse Phillips of Augusta, and Megan Phillips of Augusta; 13 great grandchildren; two sisters, Grace Johnikin of Thompson and Linda Gay of Waynesboro; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00pm Wednesday, March 24 at the funeral home. Graveside Services will be held 2:00pm Thursday, March 25 at Burke Memorial Gardens with Bernard Martin officiating.
