Samar “JJ” Jayan James 17, entered into rest May 16 th , 2023. He loved playing video games and hunting and fishing. He was a member of First Baptist Church Waynesboro and the Burke County Homeschool Co-Op.
He is survived by his paternal grandparents, Stephen and Patricia Southard of Waynesboro; his father, Joshua James of Statesboro; his mother, Tiffany Todd of Jesup; his aunt, Samantha Hamilton of Sardis; and siblings, Brayden, Mandy, Arie, and Tay of Jesup.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00pm Friday, May 19 at First Baptist Church of Waynesboro with Dr. G. Al Wright, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30pm until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Burke Memorial Gardens.
In honor of JJ, please wear one of his favorite colors, Camo or Blue, to the service.
Pallbearers will be Jud Scott, Kevin Little, Randy Fordham, J.R. Riggs, Doug Dojan, and Brenden Eberly.
Honorary Pallbearers will be The Outdoor Dream Foundation Volunteers and Families.
