Waynesboro, GA.- Russell Dean Johnson, Jr. "Rusty", 50, entered into rest Friday, January 4, 2013 at his home in New Ellenton, SC. He was born January 14, 1962 in Waynesboro to Russell Dean Johnson, Sr. and Margie Glisson Johnson. Mr. Johnson was a graduate of SGA High School and worked many years as a self employed heater and a/c repairman. He was preceded in death by his father, Russell Dean Johnson, Sr., step-father, John Kirkland, and a brother, Danny Johnson.

He is survived by his mother, Margie Glisson Johnson Kirkland, of Waynesboro, four siblings, Ray Powers, of Indianapolis, Indiana, Michael Johnson (Shonda), of Huntsville, Alabama and their children, Jake and Morgan Johnson, Jean Rolison (Rick), of Sardis and their child, Ricky Scarborough, Chris Johnson (Jennifer), of Waynesboro and their children, Angela, Katie, Cristal, and C.J.. He is also survived by his beloved dog, Shorty, and many other extended family members.

Visitation: 6:00-8:00 pm Friday, January 11, 2013 at DeLoach-McKerley Funeral Home.

Graveside Service: 2:00 pm Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Botsford Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Ernest Johnson will officiate.
