Keysville, GA- Mr. Robert "Bob" T. Williams, Sr., 88, of 1364 William Tinley Rd., died Friday, January 9, 2015, at his home, after a brief illness. He was the son of the late Eschol and Lena Williams. Mr. Williams, a native of Lumber City, (Telfair County), Georgia, had been a resident of Burke County since 1966. He was retired from the US Navy with 30 years of service. Since 1966 he was a Farmer in Burke County, GA. He was a member of the Brushy Creek Baptist Church, St. Clair, GA.

He is survived by 3 sons, Robert T. Williams, Jr. (Sarah) of The Woodlands, TX, Eric G. Williams (Becky) of Gardendale, AL, and Michael A. Williams (BJ) of Keysville, GA; a brother, Jewell Williams of Christmas, FL; a sister, Lilawease Broxton of Avery, GA; 4 grandchildren, James Wesley Williams (Lara) of Rincon, GA, Jessica Michelle Williams of Shell Bluff, GA, Robert Vaden Williams of The Woodlands, TX, and Jason Patrick Williams of The Woodlands, TX; 8 great grandchildren, Katie Williams of Rincon, GA, Paige Williams of Rincon, GA, Charlie Williams of Rincon, GA, Chris Williams of Rincon, GA, Sara Williams of Rincon, GA, Lawton Williams of Sardis, GA, Tristian Howard of Sardis, GA, and Hannah Howard of Sardis, GA.

The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Wednesday, January 14 at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm Thursday, January 15 at the funeral home. Rev. Stanley Lewis will officiate. Interment will be private in the Williams Family Cemetery. (Family members only).
