Waynesboro, GA- Robert L. Rogers, Jr. "Jed", 53, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, May 20, 2014. He was an avid gardener, hunter and fisherman. He loved his daughters more than anything in this world. He was preceded in death by his mother, Caroline Rogers.

He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Ginger Weeks Rogers; 2 daughters, Sibley Claire and Walden Elizabeth Rogers; a son, Edward James; his father, Robert L. Rogers, Sr.; a brother, Frederick Rogers; a sister, Janet Rogers; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be 6-8pm Friday, May 23 at the funeral home. Funeral Service will be 11am Saturday May 24 at New Life Church in Martinez, GA. Pastors Bryan Matthews and Phillip Maxwell will officiate. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
