Robert H. "Bobby" Mckinney, Sr.

Robert H. “Bobby” McKinney Sr., 80, entered into rest Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Augusta University. He was native and lifelong resident of Burke County. He was a member of First Baptist Church and the Pairs and Spares Sunday School Class. Bobby was the owner and operator of McKinney Wholesale Company and former member and president of the Waynesboro Jaycees.

Surviving are his children, Robert H. “Hal” McKinney (Rodney Spruell) of Cumming, GA, Mechelle Newsome of Waynesboro, and Michael McKinney (Lisa) of Waynesboro; his sister, Brenda Layman (Kirby) of Kansas City, Missouri; his grandchildren, Jeremy Harvard, Whitney Taylor, Trey Taylor, Haley Smith, Chasie Sikes, Jake Brown, Lauren McKinney, Elizabeth Milner, Joseph Brown, and Morgan White; and numerous great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Monday, June 27 at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held 11:00am Tuesday, June 28 at First Baptist Church with Dr. G. Al Wright, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers will be employees of McKinney Wholesale Company. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Pairs and Spares Sunday School Class.

Remembrances may be made to the First Baptist Church.
