Robert "Bob" Grimsley, 85, of Wrens, GA, entered into rest Saturday, December 31, 2022. Bob was born on May 13, 1937, in Dillon, SC. After graduating from Dillon High School in 1955, he went on to study engineering at the Citadel. In 1961, Bob met his wife, Faye Hardwick, in Dillon. Upon graduating with a degree in Civil Engineering in 1962, he started working for the Florida Department of Transportation in the Tampa Bay area, where he remained for 35 years. In 1997, Bob retired and he and Faye moved to Wrens, Ga where he spent his time farming.

Bob was predeceased by his wife Faye. He is survived by his daughter, Kathy Miller (Mike) of Tallahassee, FL; his son, Robert Grimsley, Jr. (Sue) of Odessa, FL; his grandchildren, Andrea Miller, Michele McAmis (Scott), Michael Miller III, Bryan Miller (Sarah), Paige Slimski (Dave), and Lexi Crocus; and great grandchildren, Sam McAmis and Felicity Miller.

A memorial will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 18 in the DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home Chapel.

Remembrances may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
