Robert Grady Reddick

January 11, 1941 — October 30, 2011

Sardis, GA - Robert Grady Reddick, 70, entered into rest Sunday, October 30, 2011, at his residence after an extended illness.He was a life-long resident of Burke County.He was a son of the late George Washington Reddick and Lucy Brinson Reddick.He retired from the Burke County Sheriff's Department after 27 years of service.He was preceded in death by his son, Brian Reddick, and his daughter, Kathy R. Lee.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Susie Babb Reddick; daughter, Mary Ann Reddick of Sardis; grandson, Noah Lee of Sardis; three brothers, Henry Cleckly Reddick, Harvey Lee Reddick, and Hubert Reddick, all of Sardis; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 1, at DeLoach-McKerley Funeral Home.

The graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 2, at Sardis Baptist Cemetery.Rev. Steve Sirmons will officiate.Pallbearers will be Woody Hayes, Cliff Babb, Michael Murphy, Bob Houston, James Stewart, and Bryan Stewart.Honorary pallbearers will be members of the BCM Hunting Club.
