Richard K. Pye, 58, entered into rest suddenly on October 4, 2019, at his home. A crowd pleaser from a young age, Richard was always quick with a joke and inspired many a legendary tale with his free spirit. He was predeceased by his father Marion and mother Sallie Mae and is survived by his loving Phyllis, son Daniel, daughter-in-law Kathryn, grandson Lincoln, brother Charles, sister-in-law Gayle, nephews Jonathan, Joshua, and David.

A memorial service will be held at 11am on Thursday, October 10th in the DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that mourners bring their best stories about Richard to share.
