Waynesboro, GA - Raymond Loren, 60, entered into rest Friday, November 19, 2010, at his home.He was born on September 7, 1950 in Burke County to the late Harvey Loren, Sr. and Pearlie Sellers Loren.He and his late wife were Owners/Operators of Loren Electric which started in 1978.He was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Linda Blount Loren; son, Raymond Loren, Jr.; brothers, Harvey Loren and James Loren; and sisters, Sara Newman and Vivian Ledbetter.
He is survived by three daughters, Tracy Tootle (Michael), Rhonda Loren (Robbie Tillman), and Joanie Loren (Billy Taylor), all of Waynesboro; five grandchildren, Alan Michael Tootle, Brannon Ashley Tootle, Caden Loren Tootle, Logan Allen Tillman, and Kaylee Elizabeth Tillman; several nieces and nephews; and a daughter from a previous marriage, Jessica Bradley.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. Saturday, November 20, 2010, at the funeral home.
The funeral will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 21, 2010 at Hopeful Baptist Church on Winter Road.Interment will follow in the church cemetery.Reverend Wayne Dixon will officiate.Pallbearers will be Melvin Clayton, Raymond Edenfield, Dennis Woods, Danny Quick, Chad Collins, Forrest Davis, John Brickley, Andy McCafferty, and Joe Sullivan.
