Sardis-Mr. Ray H. Tidwell 82, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2016 at University Hospital.
Mr. Ray was a native and longtime resident of Sardis, he also was a former residence of Lake Hamilton, Florida where owned and operated Tidwell Trucking. He was a United States Army veteran and was of the Methodist faith.
Surviving are, his wife, Othelia Ann Tidwell of Sardis, his daughter, Teresa Whitaker and husband Rick of Lexington, Indiana, his brother, Hugh Tidwell, Jr. of Lake Hamilton, Florida, his granddaughter, Tiffaney Pelaez and husband Gabriel of Springfield, Pennsylvania and two great grandchildren, Sophia and Anthony Pelaez.
Active Pallbearers will be Scotti Sanford, Donnie Lambrix, Scott Davis, Ricky Elliott, John Hamilton and Ryan Hamilton.
Graveside Services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at the Dry Branch Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Steve Sirmons officiating. Please sign our online guestbook at www.deloachfuneralhomes.com.
