Ray Madison Keefer

Ray Madison Keefer, 76, entered into rest Friday, December 20, 2024. He was born on April 22, 1948, in Carlisle, PA to the late Madison Yahn Keefer and Gladys Hippensteal Keefer. He has been a longtime resident of Burke County and retired after 36 years of transportation service as a truck driver. He was a life member of the NRA and Friends of the Hunnley Organization. Ray was an avid collector of various things, a loving husband, father and very doting grandfather, and as a child he lived in several different countries while growing up in a military family.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Deana Lively Keefer of Waynesboro; two sons, David (Patricia) Keefer and Douglas Keefer, both of Waynesboro, GA; five grandchildren, Jaxon Keefer, Conner Davis, Macaila Knott, Douglas Keefer Jr., and Dakota Keefer; a great grandchild, Carter Knott; one sister, Connie Balogh of Augusta, GA.

Memorial Services will be private.
