Peggy Sturdivant Rell

Peggy Sturdivant Rell, 86, entered into rest Saturday, October 8, 2022, at her residence. She was born and raised in Lincolnton, Georgia and was a lifelong resident of Burke County. She was a member of Botsford Baptist Church, a former employee of Southern Bank, and was retired from Georgia Power. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, John W. Sturdivant; and her son, Steve R. Sturdivant. Surviving are her husband, Conrad Rell; her grandson, Travis Sturdivant and his wife Jennifer; and two great grandchildren, Carson and Katelynn. Visitation will be Sunday, October 9, 2022, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home. Funeral Services will 2 p.m. Monday, October 10, 2022, in the Chapel of DeLoach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home with Bill Lively officiating. Burial will follow in Burke Memorial Gardens. Active Pallbearers will be DeRossie DeLaigle Jr., Jay Hollingsworth, DeRossie DeLaigle III, Levi Wyrick, Frank Lackman and Allen DeLaigle Jr. Remembrances may be made to Botsford Baptist Church.
