Waynesboro, GA - Peggy J. Dotson, 59, entered into rest Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at Brentwood Terrace Health Center.She was born on October 7, 1949 in Wrens, GA to the late Clarence Franklin Perdue, Sr. and Willie Mae Huff Perdue.For many years she worked at Ogeechee Behavioral Health Services as a Social Service Technician.She was a member of Rosemont Heights Baptist Church and attended Hebron Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger E. Dotson.

She is survived by two daughters, Andrea Quick (Jason) of Waynesboro, and Debbie Herndon of Nixa, MO; three sisters, Wanda Walden (Bennie, Sr.) of Gibson, GA, Patricia Herndon (Larry) of Wrens, GA, Judy Thigpen of Coshocton, OH; one brother, Clarence Perdue, Jr. (Linda) of Canal Fulton, OH; seven grandchildren, Dillon Quick, Cameron Quick, Walker Quick, Shaun Jordan, Bethanie Herndon, Shelby Herndon, and Thomas Herndon; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 12, 2009, from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at DeLoach Funeral Home, Waynesboro.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 13, 2009, at Hebron Baptist Church, Waynesboro, with Rev. Earl Saxon officiating.Interment will follow at Burke Memorial Gardens.Pallbearers will be James Cranford, Tommy Herndon, Shaun Jordan, Chuck Land, Wallace Quick, and Lee Bacino.
