Peggy Crozier

Waynesboro, GA - Catherine "Peggy" Crozier, 73, was called home early Tuesday morning, December 23, 2008.She was born on March 28, 1935 in Augusta, GA to the late Hoyt Mayfield Goodson and Lillie Lee Lively Goodson.She worked in the mortgage and banking industry for many years.She was preceded in death by her husband, David T. Crozier, Sr., an infant son, John Henry; two sisters, Margie Streeter and Ruth Collins; a brother, Hoyt M. Goodson, Jr.; and a cousin, Gloria Conlon.

She is survived by three sons, Joseph Crozier (Elaine) of Waynesboro, Hoyt "Hoby" Crozier (Cecilia) of Augusta, David T. Crozier, Jr. (Susan) of Waynesboro; two sisters, Josephine Knight and Donna Boland, both of Waynesboro; eight grandchildren, Kathleen, Christopher, Adam, Melanie, Lindsey, Justin, Jonathan, and Katie; five great-grandchildren, Austin, Madison, Kaydon, Hayley, and Jordan; numerous nieces and nephews; and special cousins, Bonnie Mills & Kirk Conlon.

The family will receive friends Friday, December 26, 2008, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 27, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. at McBean Baptist Church.Pastor Wayne Todd will officiate.Interment will follow at Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.Rev. Rick Boland will officiate at the interment services.Pallbearers will be Daniel Boland, Tanner Knight, Ben Knight, Jerry Faulkner, Tommy Bryan, and Ken Huff. The family will receive friends at McBean Baptist Church following the interment service.
