Waynesboro, GA - Paul Brown Tucker, Sr., 86, passed on this day, June 11, 2013.Born on August 28, 1926 to the late Ezekiel and Hennie Mae Tucker, he was a World War II veteran, and after the war guarded General McArthur. After farming and working at the Builder Supply for 21 years, Paul started his own business. He was an active member of Crossroads Baptist Church. He loved fishing and hunting. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Winston Tucker.

He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Elma Earline Tucker; 4 children, Betty Blanchard (Eddie) of Aiken, SC, Paul Tucker, Jr. (Joy), Derrell Tucker Sr. (Rhonda), Jabo Tucker, and one adopted son, J. R. Tucker, all of Waynesboro; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Heneritta Martin of Hull, GA.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Wednesday, June 12, at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held 11am Thursday, June 13, at the funeral home.Pastor Josh Williams will officiate. Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery.Pallbearers will be Paul B. Tucker III, Barney Bragg, Bryson Tucker, Derrell Henry Tucker Jr., Derrell Henry Tucker III, and Dylan Douglas. Honorary pallbearers will be Morris White, Jimmy Odom, Spencer Ready, Greg Coursey, Scott DooLittle, and Waldo Wilson Jr.
