Paul Wyatt McGahee, 56, entered into rest on January 30th, 2024, surrounded by family. He was born in Augusta to Noel and Chloris McGahee, but later moved to Waynesboro. By trade he was an HVAC technician spending the majority of his career with Pure Aire Controls. As an avid fan of music and racing, you could find him enjoying both on any given day. Paul was a strong, independent man who lived life on his own terms. Proud is an understatement when it came to sharing about his children and his granddaughter who he affectionately called his sweetheart. He looked forward to the annual family vacations where he would keep them all laughing while playing rummy or listening to live music at the Tiki Hut.
He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years Peggy; children, Jonathon, and Paige (Chris) and granddaughter Noelle; his parents, Noel and Chloris McGahee of Augusta; brothers, Dwayne (Barbara) of Grovetown, Brandon of Atlanta and Troy (Kristine) of Evans; sister-in-law, Tina of Norfolk, Virginia; brother-in-law, Ed of North Augusta; and his numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 3:00pm to 4:00pm Friday, February 2 at the funeral home with Memorial Services following at 4:00pm.
