Paul Edward Marsh, Jr.

Paul Edward Marsh Jr., 45, of Martinez, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2022. He was born in 1977 in Augusta, GA. Paul was employed in IT at Augusta University Hospital. He was a DJ in his spare time and was loved deeply by his family and friends and he was willing to go out of his way to help others. Paul graduated from Aquinas High School in 1995 and attended Augusta College. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Paul Marsh; and maternal grandparents, Kay and Bill Van Sant.

Surviving are his father, Paul Edward Marsh Sr. (Barbara) of Martinez; his mother, Cathy Van Sant Espitallier (Mark) of Hephzibah; sister, Rachael M. Marsh of Martinez; brother, Jason M. Aradanas of Austin, TX; niece and nephew, Sarah and Carsen; grandmother, Varnelle A. Marsh of Evans; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his loving dog, Knuckles.

A Chaplet of Divine Mercy and Funeral Vigil Rite will be held 4:30 pm Wednesday, September 21, 2022, in the chapel of Deloach-McKerley-Prescott Funeral Home with a visitation to follow from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 12:00pm Thursday, September 22, 2022, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waynesboro with Father John Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Burke Memorial Gardens. Pall bearers will be John Street, Will Van Sant, Charlie Street, Sean Waters, Mark Lariscy, and Jason Dressen.

Paul was a supporter and DJ for the First Friday fire dance performances by Arcane Arts and would encourage your support of them. The family would ask that those who wish to have Masses said for Paul send a donation to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 115 South Liberty St., Waynesboro, GA, 30830.
