Patti Rae Parker Chavous

Patti was a native of Augusta and lived most of her adult life in Waynesboro. She was a Butler High School graduate, class of 1976. She was a member of Rosemont Baptist Church in Waynesboro. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She loved cooking, working in the yard and making memories with her friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ray Parker and is survived by her mother, Frances Parker of Augusta; two children, Rob Chavous (Lucy) of Cumming, GA, and Kristen Smith (Tanner) of Waynesboro; a granddaughter, Sydnee Smith; a sister, Dianne Jarrett (Rusty) ofEvans; and a niece, Ashley Rodwell (Chris) of Evans and their daughters, Caroline and Catherine.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at Rosemont Baptist Church from 6:00 pm thru 8:00 pm on Tuesday, October 4.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her honor to Rosemont Baptist Church, 522 US Hwy 25, Waynesboro, GA 30830.
