Waynesboro, GA- Patricia Joyner Rackley, 77, entered into rest Sunday, December 21, 2014 at University Hospital. She was a lifelong resident of Waynesboro and was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church. She worked for many years as a Medical Technologist at Burke County Hospital and for Dr. B. Lamar Murray. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Howell Calloway Joyner and Marie Stevens Joyner; her husband, James Frank Rackley, Jr.; and a brother, Howell Calloway Joyner, Jr.

She is survived by her son, Frank Rackley III of Waynesboro; 4 grandchildren, Marie Elizabeth Rackley of Waynesboro, Helen Patricia Goodwin of New Church, VA, Barbara Charlotte Rackley of Chincoteague Island, VA, and Joshua Bales of Augusta; 8 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; 1 brother, Jimmy Hicks of Columbia, SC; 1 niece; and 1 nephew.

Visitation will be held from 6-8pm Friday, December 26 at the funeral home. Graveside Services will be held at 3pm Saturday, December 27 at Magnolia Cemetery. Rev. H. Craig Hutto will officiate.
