Patricia Herndon

Patricia Herndon, 76, met her Lord and Savior on June 30, 2024. She was born on May 12, 1948, in Wrens to the late Willie Mae and Clarence Franklin Perdue, Sr. She met the love of her life, Larry Gene Herndon of Midville, and they were married on May 30, 1969. They lived in Jefferson County for the entirety of their marriage and served the community with all their hearts and were helpful to all they met. Patricia was a devout Christian, who loved serving the Lord and her family and friends. She was employed by Atwell Pecan Company for over 30 years. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by, two sisters, Peggy Perdue Dotson (married to the late Roger E. Dotson) and Judy Thigpen; a nephew, Wyman Thigpen; and a great niece, Haven Riane Quick.

She is survived by two siblings, Wanda Walden (Benny) of Gibson and Clarence Franklin Perdue, Jr. (Linda) of Canal Fulton, OH; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be held 11:30am July 10 at Midville City Cemetery with Rev. Steve Sirmons officiating.
