Sardis, GA - Otis McMillan, 78, entered into rest Sunday, March 6, 2011.He was an avid coon hunter and was of the Baptist faith.He retired from Perfection Schwank after 32 years.Otis was a son of the late Henry A. McMillan and Marion Godbee McMillan.He was preceded in death by his sister, Beulah McMillan Hillis, and a brother, Odel McMillan.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Jean Royal; a son; a daughter; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a special nephew, Mack Hillis; and other nieces, nephews, and family members.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 9, at the funeral home.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 10, at the funeral home.Rev. Frank Waits will officiate.Interment will follow at Bethel Baptist Cemetery.Pallbearers will be Robin Elliott, Robert Heath, J. L. Blackburn, Roy Kirchner, Randy Barefield, Mitchell Oglesby, and Gene Ellison.Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Jenkins, Greg Coursey, Dr. Lamar Murray, and R. L. Flakes.
