Ollie G. Cook, age 92, of Blythe, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at her daughters' residence in Graniteville, S.C. She was born January 31, 1923 in Jackson, S.C. to the late Doson and Emmie Gray Atkinson. She worked in the cafeteria for Blythe Elementary School for many years. She was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church in Blythe. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas Watson Parker, Sr., one son, Thomas Watson Parker, Jr., one daughter, Mary G. Harwell and one great grandson, Bailey Dalber.
She is survived by her husband, Walter Cook; children, Peggy Sullivan of Graniteville, Louis (Linda) Parker of Grovetown, Debbie Lewis of FL., Donna Cook of Martinez and Melody Miller of Augusta; 1 sister, Catherine Baston of Thomaston; 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday (TONIGHT) 7 pm to 9 pm at Hephzibah Funeral Home, HWY 88, Hephzibah.
Funeral Services will be Saturday 3 pm at Faith Baptist Church, 3355 HWY 88, Blythe with Pastor Alfred F. Halford, officiating. Visitation one hour prior to services at the church. Pallbearers will be Jerry Parker, Stacy Sullivan, Jr., Mac James, Jerry Marks, Wayne Garrett and Mikel Skinner. Burial to follow in Mt. Moriah Methodist Church Cemetery in Matthew.
