Norbert "Bugg" Alvin Tobias, Jr.

Norbert “Bugg” Alvin Tobias, Jr., 41 entered into rest Sunday, October 15, 2023. He was born in Augusta and was a lifelong resident of Burke County. He attended Burke County High School and was a member of Sardis Baptist Church. Bugg worked as a carpenter and mechanic and owned and operated Hwy 24 Auto Repair.

He is survived by three children, Jarrod Lamar Tobias, Kinslee Marie Tobias, and Natalie Rose Tobias; his parents, Norbert and Yvonne Tobias and Crystal Overstreet; two sisters, Lynda Jones (Jerry) and Michelle Boswell (Patrick); niece and nephews, Brad Leopard, Ashlee Ray, and Aiden Cillo; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 7:00pm Wednesday, October 18 at the funeral home. Graveside Services will be held 2:00pm Thursday, October 19 at Sardis Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Tim Brown officiating.

Pallbearers will be Josh Quick, Clay Brinson, Shelton Brigham, Billy Ray Brown, Jonathan Cates, and Jamey Ellis.

Remembrances may be made to the Sardis Baptist Church.
