Nona G Kimpel

Waynesboro – Nona G. Kimpel, 79, passed away on June 16, 2019, at her residence. She was born on October 12, 1939, in Wagoner, Oklahoma to the late Ovie Efton and Juanita Hathcock Trott.

Nona was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a very friendly kindhearted person. She moved to Burke County in April 1994 from Mt. Pleasant, MI. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Kimpel.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Joe Kimpel of Waynesboro; son, Larry Kimpel (Anneka) of Farwell, MI; daughter, Terresa Lyons (Ernie) of Tahlequah, OK; sister, Sharon Erickson of Reno, NV; brother, Troy Trott of Albion, IL; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
