Nancy Oglesby Sikes Law

August 31, 1918 — April 1, 2020

Nancy Oglesby Sikes Law, 101, entered into rest Wednesday, April 1, 2020. She was born in Millen on August 31, 1918, to the late Quinney and Fannie Baxley Oglesby. She was a graduate of the American Institute of Practical Nursing and was a member of Midville Baptist Church, Pearl Todd WMU, and Home Improvement Club of Waynesboro. Nancy was a Pinklady at the hospital and a caregiver to all. She enjoyed gardening and growing roses. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Herman H. Sikes; her second husband, W.A. Law; and her son, Herman Q. Sikes.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Elaine Sikes Hilton (James) of Midville; three granddaughters, Tonya Sikes Hodges (Clay) of Bartow, Tara Sikes Bradley (Earl) of Midville, and Trina Sikes Ramey of Midville; seven great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

Private Graveside Services will be held.

Remembrances may be made to the Midville Baptist Church.
