Mrs. Marian R. Massey

Waynesboro, GA - Mrs. Marian R. Massey, 93, entered into heaven on Monday, February 28, 2011.

Mrs. Massey worked in Civil Service, retiring as the Budget Officer for the Signal Corps at Ft. Gordon.She was an active member of her local chapter of the DAR.She was a long time member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church and served as their treasurer for many years.

She was the loving wife of George J. Massey who preceded her into eternal rest.

Her memory will be cherished by the family she left behind:son Jackson R. Massey; daughter-in-law Sherry Massey; granddaughter Debra Massey Langham; great granddaughter, Ramona Cook and great grandson Luke Cochran.

Visitation will be at the DeLoach-McKerley Funeral Home on Liberty Street in Waynesboro on Thursday, March 3, 2011 from 3-4 in the afternoon.A Memorial Service will be held immediately following officiated by the Rev. Billy Carroll.
