Mrs. Ellen Mcclain Tapley

Alexander, GA - Mrs. Ellen McClain Tapley, 67 years old, passed away Wednesday, March 16, at Trinity Hospital after an extended illness.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 19, at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Baptist Church with Pastor Matthew Shryock officiating.Interment will follow at Bethel Baptist Cemetery.Pallbearers will be her grandson and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. Z. McClain; a sister, Becky McClain Sapp; and two brothers, James "Jake" McClain and Rayford Flakes.

She will be remembered for her love of life and her enjoyment of being in the company of her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, David Tapley; one son, Randall Tapley (Melissa); two grandchildren, Eric and Ashley Tapley; one sister, Ann M. Mack; two brothers, Howard McClain and Wiley "E" McClain; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, March 18, from 6-8 p.m. at DeLoach-McKerley Funeral Home, 842 N. Liberty Street, Waynesboro, GA30830 (706-554-3531).
