Midville, GA- Minus H. Sikes, Jr., 67, entered into rest Thursday, December 19, 2013, surrounded by his loving family and friends.He worked at Burke Truck and Tractor for 30 years. He was active in agriculture, enjoyed hunting and fishing, and always loved Friday Night Poker Games.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Patricia Sikes; 2 children, Denise Large (Dillon), and Hud Sikes (Kylie Dorr) all of Midville; a sister, Pearl Braswell of Midville; 4 grandchildren, Amber Keen (Tripp), Diane Smith (James), Kristi Daniels, and Kole Sikes; and 2 great grandchildren, Brooklyn Daniels and Addysen Smith.

Visitation will be 6-8pm Friday, December 20 at the funeral home.

Graveside Services will be 2pm Saturday, December 21 at Midville City Cemetery. Rev. David Boggs will officiate. Pallbearers are Daniel Hannah, Rob Crockett, Rocky Yelton, Byron Gelderman, Robbie Hannah, and Steve Bunn. Honorary Pallbearers are Wayne Crockett, Joe Law, John Cleve Newton, Tommy Mead, Grady Mobley, Harris Moore, Roy Pope, Carey Cobb, past and present employees of Burke Truck and Tractor, Midville Moccasins, and Friday Night Poker Palace.

Flowers are being accepted; however, the family suggests that memorials be made to Midville First Baptist Church or Edmund Burke Academy Basketball Program.
