Hephzibah, GA - Minnie Etterle Patton, 85, entered into rest Thursday, April 23, 2009, after an extended illness.She was born December 7, 1923 in Richmond County to the late John F. Etterle, Sr. and Elva James Etterle.She was retired from Southern Bell after many years of service where she was an operator and later worked in the Engineering Department.She was a member of Atonement Episcopal Church in Hephzibah.
She is survived by five siblings, John Fred Etterle, Jr. of Hephzibah, GA, Farris Derial Etterle (Sandra) of Orlando, FL, Charles B. Etterle (Vivian) of Trenton, SC, Geraldine Etterle of Hephzibah, GA, and Walter C. Etterle (Cathy) of Hephzibah, GA; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Regency Hospice, Windemere Nursing Home, and the numerous caregivers that helped take care of her over the years.
The family will receive friends from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Funeral Services will be at 12:00 p.m. Monday, April 27, 2009, at DeLoach Funeral Home, Hephzibah, with Father Billy Alford officiating.Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.Pallbearers will be Robert R. Etterle, Josh Bratcher, Gary Hulett, Chris Etterle, Allen Baldowski, Carl Baldowski, Kyle Baldowski, and Thomas Hulett.The family and pallbearers are asked to assemble at the funeral home by 11:30 a.m.
